Space Shuttles
Space Shuttles were a partially reuseable spacecraft that could be used to shuttle crew and components from Earth to the ISS.
They were first used in 1981 and retired in 2011 after they were deemed too costly due to weight and safety concerns.
International Space Station
The International Space Station is a space station that orbits the Earth. It is used as a laboratory to study the effects of microgravity and the environment of space.
The ISS is split in half between an American controlled section and a Russian controlled one. The American side is further split between Canada, Europe, and Japan's space administrations.
